Right Wing Renews Calls For Profiling: ‘There Should Be A Separate Line To Scrutinize Anybody With The Name Abdul’:

Radio host Mike Gallagher: “There should be a separate line to scrutinize anybody with the name Abdul or Ahmed or Mohammed.” (Note: Those are some of the most common names in the world.)

Rep. Peter King (R-NY): “100 percent of the Islamic terrorists are Muslim, and that is our main enemy today. So why we should not be profiling people because of their religion?”

Terrorism pundit Steven Emerson: “Remember, there have been so many complaints about quote, profiling, by the quote, Islamic civil rights groups, that they stopped basically profiling. And that basically led to not putting this guy onto the terrorist watch list.”

I decided to get a new desktop background. Check it out.

Pretty sweet, I know  🙂

On a slightly different note.

I need to start keeping track of all my odd ways of rebellion.
Disabling my phone from texting is almost monumental.
Kind of like when I deleted all my phone numbers over the summer.

Oh, you sexy thing.

I happen to come across some of Lil’ Wayne’s old album art, and decided that I needed to look up all of them. And so I did, and this is what I found.

No, Little Wayne, tha block is not hot.

I feel like he is trying to be Jesus, and the white bandanna is his halo.
God has many reincarnations.
God can be found on pandora internet radio.
And God is also Weezy.

500 Degreez is by far my favorite album cover.
I guess the fire from his first cover wasn’t enough.
Ironically, he looks like he is burning in hell with all that fire.
Even in that 500 degreez of fire, he seems content.
This is proof.
Lil’ Wayne must be one of the many reincarnations of God.

Aww, someone finally decided it was time to be normal.

Minus the exception of the ridiculousness of his boxers-to-pants ratio, I approve of this one. Actually, it may be his best.

Just when he was learning to be normal, he pulls out this one.
My only comment: What the fuck?

There are more, but I decided to give it a rest.

Monthly Goals.

Michael Pollan is a brilliant man. I want to be like him. Actually, I want to eat like him. This book was absolutely fascinating. I had read over half the book last summer, but decided that I didn’t want to start from the middle after so long and so I decided to reread everything. It was much more impressive the second time around. And in the third section of his book, he preaches out seven words “Eat Food. Not too much. Mostly plants.” He also provides a few rules of thumb to go about this. And I think in spirit of the new year, a new decade in fact, that I should actually have a more reasonable new years resolution than my previous one which was to try to go to bed at a reasonable hour…. which was a complete and utter joke, that didn’t even last two days. But to be more reasonable, rather than to eat like Michael Pollan for a year,  my new years resolution is to have monthy goals.

For the month of January, I want to eat like Michael Pollan and eat by the rules of thumb that he provided in the third part of his book, with minor changes and exceptions because his guidelines are too drastic for my uncultured, Western diet eating habits.

And on a completely different side note:
